X-23 mini-series 2 # 2 ( I know she's related to wolverine in the cartoons but in the comics its a whole different story and I want to know what it is).
Wolverine: Origins # 10: Billed as the first appearance of Wolverine's son, it was a terrible disappointment. Wolverine's son looks nothing like he is depicted on the cover and we barely see him at all, he's in two pages and he's an a-hole towards Logan.
Justice Society Of America # 2: The character on the cover is my favorite member: Starman. He was just introduced in issue 1 so we don't know much about him but he has the best lines and he's kind of a mentally unstable time traveler with Tourette's Disorder.
I watched Alpha Dog and son of a bitch, it turns out Justin Timberlake can act. Not that he was great through the whole movie but when the movie's climax happens it rests on JT to deliver the goods and he did. Next he's in Black Snake Moan.
comics are joy. this year started strong with the release of ALL STAR SUPERMAN #6

as usual it was Brilliant
and Sad
and touching
and exciting
and as soon as I was done reading it, I wanted to read it again.
I forgot to put this on my list of things I bought the first week of January. It was quite a highlight.
+ Morrison continues to deliver fantastic tales of DC's flagship character
+ All-Star Superman already seems destined to go down as a classic
